I want her to grow up knowing she can do anything and that she builds her self-confidence along the way. She already is a confident and amazing kid and always excited about everything and I want her to keep that spirit to truly enjoy life.

That’s why I’m excited that Hulu is celebrating the launch The Powerpuff Girls by highlighting amazing girls across the country!

Powerpuff Girls RealLifePowerpuff GirlThese #RealLifePowerpuff girls are doing incredible things and inspiring others while they do so whether they are working in the fields of science or sports or doing great things with their families and communities. I’m excited to see all the inspiring photos and videos in this hashtag. I would love to share Kora’s story too. She loves making others laugh and brightening their day, she is always willing to try new things even if they make her nervous. This has led her to landing her own radio show on the high school radio station as a 5th grader! She works hard on it, does a wonderful job with it and has received many compliments and lots of praise from those in the studio, on the production team, and listeners. She inspires me every day to find joy in the little things, to just be happy doing what you are doing, and to be daring and take on new challenges.

The #RealLifePowerpuff contest will run until the end of the month so be sure to submit a photo or video!

The Powerpuff Girls centers on three sugar-coated superheroes, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, whose missions in life alternate between going to school, fighting crime, winning at hopscotch and saving the world before bedtime. The girls are frequently called upon by the town’s mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. While their differences cause them to squabble and tease, their individual strengths combined always lead them to victory. They rely on teamwork, trust, and friendship to thwart evil (in the most adorable way).

The inspiring girl in my life is my daughter. She takes on life with such passion and a desire to do the right thing. She sticks up for the kids that usually have no one on their side. She sought out a boy she had been mean to in grade school and sent him a long apology. I love her heart and her pure sincerity.
