NOVICA Jewelry Review

In this NOVICA jewelry review, I received a necklace and am excited to share with you how this site in association with National Geographic, works directly with talented artisans around the world.

It gives them a place to express their artistic talents and provides access to the world market. It is one of the leading fair trade artisan websites.

With over 2,000 extraordinary master artists from around the world, NOVICA offers you the chance to read about their lives, explore their cultures, and select from more than 30,000 handcrafted works of art.

I was recently offered a opportunity to review an item from their Home Decor or Jewelry lines. Once I hopped onto the NOVICA site, I found myself perusing their products for nearly 2 hours! The Home Decor department includes bookends, clocks, tableware, wind chimes, hammocks and everything in between.

While I thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the items in Home Decor, it was the jewelry department that drew me in. The online shop offers beautifully handcrafted silver jewelry, earrings, bracelets, brooches, rings and more. I found each piece to be elegant, but it was the selection of 3,427 necklaces that grabbed my attention.

It took me nearly an hour to decide which necklace to choose and when I happily settled on the Pearl Torsade Necklace “Party Balloons” I was excited to read about the artist who created it. I chose this necklace because it seemed to float off the page and it’s bright festive colors were eye-catching.

I ordered the necklace and in less than a week it arrived at my doorstep! I was impressed with the number of tracking emails I received and the necklace arrived faster than expected. It came in a very pretty box made with handmade mulberry bark paper and the necklace was wrapped around a small pillow to prevent tangling.

I had the opportunity to wear the necklace out to a formal dinner and it received many compliments. Everyone loved the colors and many commented on how lovely it was.
