There Are #NoSickDays Especially When There Are Snowman To Be Made

Thank you to Vicks for sponsoring this post. The honest opinions are my own.

Winter is here! While I’m not a fan of the cold, I do love a beautiful snowfall. Especially when it’s good packing snow. When I was a kid one of my favorite things to do in the winter was build snowmen with my family. My sister and I would get started rolling snowballs and it wouldn’t be long before my mom and dad were out to help. Now that Dave and I are parents we love doing the same with Kora and Logan. In fact, a few weeks ago we had quite a bit of snow and the kids rolled gigantic snowballs for a snowman.

SnowmanWhen they were ready to stack the snowballs, Dave went out to give them a hand.

Let it snow, let its snow, let it snow! ❄️⛄️

How fun is that?!

The snowman turned out fantastic and I am looking forward to it snowing again so we can get out there together so we can share smiles, laughs, and build a memorable snowman together. As a mom my life is about enjoying every moment with Kora and Logan. Every day is a new adventure with them. They grow up so fast that I don’t want to miss a thing, especially building snowmen. That’s why I’m happy about DayQuil Severe and NyQuil Severe.

Vicks WinterWhen I’m sick in the winter, I don’t want to be in bed missing good snowman making days with the kids so I keep DayQuil SEVERE on hand to help me get relief from my symptoms. Often when you are sick it’s tough to sleep at night and good rest is an essential part of getting better. That’s why I also keep NyQuil SEVERE ready to go so I can get a good night’s sleep which will allow me to keep up with two energetic kids.

Vicks Severe SnowmanWe are all looking forward to the next snowfall and since there are #NoSickDays for parents who don’t want to miss a moment, I’ll keep DayQuil Severe and NyQuil Severe at the ready if I need to relieve any cold or flu symptoms.

You can get a coupon for DayQuil Severe and NyQuil Severe here.

What about you? What winter fun do you refuse to miss out on – sledding, skating, skiing, snowball fights, etc.?

We do not have any snow right now, but we had a lot in December and January and loved taking the kids sledding at the big hill in our park that is just 5 blocks from our house. It is a lot of fun making snowmen. We made a big one in our front yard!

This brings back so many memories when the kids were little and we used to go out and build a snowman. Such fun times!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
