Luma Comfort HC12B Humidifier Review

Fall is here and that means cooler weather With temperatures in 40’s and soon heading down into the 30’s, we’ve already had to turn on our heat here in Cleveland. Whenever the furnace kicks in the air in the house immediately gets drier affecting our skin and our sleep.

Along with that it’s cold and flu season and whenever any of us gets sick we look for ways to ease the congestion and one of the best ways we’ve found to help both our skin, congestion, and sleep is with humidifiers. We’ve tried a number of different humidifiers over the years and that’s why I was excited about the Luma Comfort HC12B Humdifier.

When the humidifier arrived the first thing that immediately struck me is its design. It’s very modern and looks unlike any other humidifier I’ve ever seen. It resembles a drop of water which when you think about it being a humidifier is ingenious!

When you set it up you can make the spout size small, medium, or large. You simply snap in various pieces or remove them depending on the size you’d like.

Luma Comfort Humidifier TallThe second thing that caught my eye about the Luma Comfort HC12B Humidifier, is that lasts up to 45 hours on a single tank fill. I have been searching for a humidifier that lasts longer than a day for ages and I’m excited that this one lasts so long. It makes it really convenient to use and I love not having to fill it up every day.

Another feature of this humidifier is that it has 8 settings and you can click through each one with a remote designed to look like the humidifier. Such a great idea!

Luma Comfort Humidifier RemoteIt really pumps out a cool mist too. Even on the lowest setting you can see the mist float out of the spout. The higher settings are quite impressive and if you need to get humidity into a room quickly, this humidifier will have it done in no time. I held up a black poster board behind the mist so you could see it better:

Here’s a video showing it in action:

I remember when Kora was a baby and she was really sick. She had a terrible cold and we took her to the doctor who said there really wasn’t anything that could be done for her since it really was just a cold and she doesn’t believe in prescribing medication when it’s not necessary. She said the thing that will help the most is to put a humidifier in her room. It would add moisture to the air which would loosen her cough and relieve her congestion allowing her to sleep better and recover from the cold more quickly. We set up the humidifier and it definitely helped her out. The drawback was it was very small and we had to constantly refill it. It was worth it to make her feel better but it was quite a process every day.

That’s why I love the Luma Comfort HC12B Humidifier and recommend it to anyone looking for a new humidifier. It’s long lasting, has 8 settings with an easy to use remote, covers 650 square feet, and has a sleek design to fit any decor. It’s the best humidifier we’ve ever had and I’m really excited to use it this winter!

I was just thinking last night about getting a new humidifier. I like how this one has a remote and different settings.
