If you’ve been reading the blog and my social media updates than you know that we’ve been having quite a rough winter here in Cleveland. It’s been unbelievably snowy and cold with windchills hitting negative 40’s. This has obviously caused school to be closed and all us a bit trapped at home.

The last polar vortex that came through gave the kids 4 days straight of snow days and there was a weekend in between. Needless to say it would have been tough to get any fresh air around here, that’s why we are excited about the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier.
Not only have we been cooped up, but Dave and I both struggle with allergies. He’s allergic to grass, pollen, and we are starting to think he may have a bit of dog allergy too. While I’m allergic to dust, mold, rain, and my sinuses have a hard time dealing with temperature changes. So that’s why I was excited to read that the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier is the choice for allergy or asthma sufferers. Some of its impressive features include:

When I first removed it from the box I was impress by it’s modern and sleek look. It’s a large air purifier but one that is nicely designed.
I was impressed to find it was also lightweight and portable which makes it easy to move from one room to the next if needed.
While we’ve tried out other purifiers in the past, none has ever had a UV light. I think this is a brilliant idea as it destroys and inhibits the growth of mold and bacteria.
The multiple filters are impressive too. I’ve never seen an air purifier with 4 different filters.
I also like that it is quiet. You can barely hear it when it is on low. If you turn it up to a higher speed it’s definitely going to be louder but it’s working harder so that’s the point.

We highly recommend the Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier to anyone looking to purchase a high quality top of the line air purifier. With it’s many features and ability to remove 99% of indoor pollutants it’s a great product to have especially when you are cooped up inside due to cold winters or dealing with allergies any time of the year.
We are full time campers and there are times I think it would be nice to have an air purifier in our camper.
I really like all the great features of this. We could definitely benefit with one of these.
This unit looks so nice plus easy to use. I really like the SmartClean indicator. I need to have my husband look into one of these. Both he and my son have bad allergies. so if this could give them some relief, I am all for it. Thanks for the review.

That looks like a really good air purifier – but it is huge! However, it is worth it! I would like to have a high quality air purifier.
we’ve been looking for an air purifier, he has different allergies to the seasons and I think this would help.
Our air purifier broke about a year ago. Something we really need to consider replacing.
