Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Review

Prior to leaving for a recent trip to Cincinnati, I looked around online for a hotel to stay at.
Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Lobby

Media rate received.

After reading reviews and looking at photos I booked a room at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. When I walked in to the beautiful hotel lobby, I knew immediately that I had made the right choice. The lobby was large and brightly lit thanks to the atrium like windows lining the slanted ceiling.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati LobbyThe water feature and fountain in the center of the lobby was artistic and eye-catching. The sound of the water reminded me of a quiet waterfall and it had a relaxing calming effect while the fountain itself was intriguing and unique.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Water FeatureCheck-in at the front desk was smooth and efficient. I was on my way up to my room in minutes.

Once in my 16th floor room, I was pleased with the amount of space it offered. The king size bed was lovely and the decor was subtle and neutral.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Room

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati Room ReviewThere was a roomy desk with a comfortable chair, a dresser and nice size tv, a nice sitting chair to put things or to relax in, and the bathroom had a spacious counter area that made getting ready each morning much easier.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati BathroomThe view from the room was nice. There was a parking garage below but when I looked out I was greeted with views of the river, stadiums, and bridges.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati ViewOne of my favorite amenities in the room was the power strips built into the furniture. The desk had a power strip along side of it, as did the night stand.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati AmenitiesThis was an important and incredibly helpful feature for me because after attending the conference all day I need to be able to charge all of my devices: phone, laptop, camera, etc. Often I find I have to wrestle around behind nightstands, dressers, and desks at hotels to get to outlets, but the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati had me covered and made it easy to charge everything while I slept.

I didn’t get a chance to use either, but the pool and the fitness area both looked incredible. The pool area was beautiful, bright, and airy. The complimentary 24/7 Stay Fit fitness center was full of fantastic cardio equipment complete with tv’s in the treadmills! Next, time I’m here I will make sure to utilize both.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati PoolI also liked that there was a Skywalk that connected the hotel to other hotels, buildings, and a mall. The weather was nice while I was there, but I know this would be useful in the winter or on rainy days.

Hyatt Regency Cincinnati SkywalkJust a note to make you aware when you do visit, the parking garage is $14 a day under 12 hours and valet is $26 per night with in and out privileges.

I was pleased with my stay at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati and would recommend it to others staying in the area. The staff is pleasant, the views are nice, the conference rooms are roomy, and the Skywalk makes getting around in bad weather a breeze.

That is a beautiful hotel. We were down in Cincinnati a couple of years ago for a marathon, wish I saw this before then. My kids would have loved the pool. That sure was a great view from the room also.

Nice hotel. Lovely view. I guess I may have seen Cincinnati in movies but have never been there. On my list of things to do is one of those long road trips that will include cities like Cincinnati that I haven’t seen.

What a beautiful hotel! A nice hotel makes all the different in the quality of a vacation and it’s the little details (like th power strips) that separate a really great hotel from an average one!
