You may remember that we moved to Michigan from Cleveland just over a year ago. We were very lucky and found a house in the perfect neighborhood. It’s in the school district we wanted for Kora & Logan, they have lots of friends in the area, and it’s near a lot of parks and nature areas that we love, without being too far away from shopping, restaurants, or the city.
While we love our house, it does need a lot of work. We are just about to start remodeling and can’t wait! Our layout is fairly old fashioned with lots of walls and doorways. Dave has been looking forward to redoing the kitchen since the day we moved in. He wants to knock down walls, put in new counter tops, cabinets, appliances, and flooring. We’ve talked a lot about how we would fix it up, and while it’s all exciting we want to make sure we are doing it right and are still looking for new inspiration and ideas.

I’ve been pouring over the Best Buy Appliance Remodel/Refresh page and can’t decide which I like more, the Black Stainless Steel Appliances, the Built In Kitchen Appliances, or the Pacific Kitchen and Home Premium Appliances.

On top of that, the Even Heat Technology means everything cooks evenly (which we need because the stove that came with our house tends to favor sides).
