GazziliMath App Makes Math Fun

Anyone with young children and an iPhone or iPad knows their kids are magically attracted to them like a bug to a light.

GazziliMath Numerals

This post is sponsored by GazzliWorld.

When Logan was a little over 2, he would somehow just appear next to me anytime I picked up my iPhone, it was uncanny. Within a couple of weeks, he was swiping and tapping like a pro and able to work my iPhone better than Tésa could!

We find it amazing how far the educational apps on the iDevices have come over the years, especially for preschoolers. We were especially happy to have an opportunity to write this sponsored review of the GazziliMath app for your iPhone or iPad. The GazziliMath app is designed to help preschoolers learn the FUNdamentals of math.

At first appearance, the GazziliMath app is put together to grab your child’s attention with its bright colors and cool cartoon-like characters. This app will then keep your child’s attention with the fun games that will have them wanting to keep going and advancing to see what’s next.

The game has 6 main levels where you must complete the prior level to advance. The fun starts with ‘Numerals’ which will confirm or help teach your child what each number is and how many items each number represents. As you advance you also have the following levels; ‘Counting,’ ‘Adding One,’ ‘Ten,’ ‘Subtraction’ and ‘A Half.’ GazziliMath takes a fun and easy to follow approach in explaining and testing your child as they advance through the game. As I said, the colors and characters are great, but we love that the screens on GazziliMath are also interactive. Kids are able to click on characters throughout the game and have the characters react, or move around.

The app does a great job of teaching and speaking throughout the entire game, an extra really cool feature is that there is a hearing-impaired mode that provides written versions of the game direction and all narration as well. This is a great alternative for parents of special needs children.

GazziliMath PicnicOverall GazziliMath will have your preschooler smiling and laughing as they learn the basics and help build the foundation of their math concepts. GazziliMath is available for the iPhone and iPad and can be purchased at the iTunes store for $1.99. This is an app that your child will enjoy and learn something as well! GazziliMath is a part of GazziliWorld, check out their other “edutainment” apps, such as words, puzzles, science and shapes!

I am 32 and I still remember that in 5th grade we got to go to computer lab once a week and I would play MathBlasters. It was on a DOS green and black IBM screen. I loved it. To learn and have fun. This app is nice and a great price too

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
