I love to travel! It may be my favorite thing to do, either with our children, our extended family, or just the Hubby and I. It’s truly one of the most enjoyable things for me. Being in a new place, seeing, doing, and learning about new and different things is just so much fun.

In the recent past we have stayed in vacation homes, as opposed to hotels and have really had some great experiences. A vacation rental home generally offers more space, more privacy and a more relaxed feeling as well. That’s why I’m excited to about FlipKey.

FlipKey is a powerful and extremely useful resource. They have over 90,000 vacation rentals worldwide that can be reserved for you at the click of a button (well maybe a couple clicks, but you get my point!). Even more impressive than that is the ease of using the site. You have multiple ways to search for your future vacation rental. You can search by location, price, style of home, as well as all sorts of amenities to search through as well.

If you think all of the search options are impressive, wait until you look around and find the perfect rental for your vacation, and the perfect price. There is a huge variety of homes and prices available, in just a quick search for vacation rentals in Chicago, I came up will all sorts of options from the affordable $100-$300 a night range to the glamorous 6 bedroom suite at around $3,000 a night (and plenty in-between). Your options are essentially limitless.

If you need some help with ideas for a vacation, FlipKey has you covered here as well, you can look up all sorts of trip ideas from the weekend getaway to a month long vacation in Europe. This is a neat function to give you even more ideas!

Lastly, if you are looking for any travel tips or recommendations of insight, you can check out FlipKey’s blog as well. I am proud to say I was just quoted on their blog under recommendations for family travel! I also had a great time reading some of the other articles on their blog as well and found a lot of the tips very informative and educational.

Check out FlipKey.com and start planning your next trip in a vacation rental! The only question is where will you go?

What about you? If you could plan a vacation right now, where would you go?

Flip Key looks like a good way to have a private relaxing vacation!

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
