Easy Brunch Recipe Idea: Ham, Bacon, & Swiss Sliders

This post is sponsored by Kraft.

This time of year always has me thinking outside the box for recipes. The weather is still cold here in Michigan and I love a good comfort meal whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I enjoy trying recipes that are warm, filling, and flavorful and, as always, easy.

Like many of you I’m a busy mom and I love making simple recipes that are delicious and memorable. As a Kraft Tastemaker I am excited to share this sponsored recipe below. I always enjoy browsing the Kraft Recipes site for new ideas and this month you can find all kinds of delicious St. Patrick’s Day recipes.

We’ll be looking forward to enjoying the traditional recipes like corned beef and cabbage. It’s a standard in our house this time of year and always brings a smile to our faces on a chilly winter night.

This month I’m also looking forward to trying a few different recipes as well. In fact, with spring around the corner I’m inspired to think about all the fresh possibilities coming our way which leads me to thinking of brunch. It’s a great way to get together with friends and family and enjoy breakfast and lunch inspired recipes. There are many great brunch recipes out there and when I’m planning my menu I generally find myself dreaming about coffee cake, eggs, overnight French toast, and more.

The fun thing about brunch though is that you can plan delicious lunch recipes too. I thought it would be fun to make some Ham, Bacon, & Swiss Sliders recently to try them out as a brunch dish at a recent family gathering. They were incredibly easy to prepare, were only in the oven for a few minutes and it wasn’t long before they were on our brunch table being served.

Hawaiian Ham Bacon Swiss SlidersAll of our guests were excited to try them. I’m happy to say they were full of flavor and the bacon added a special touch which made the bacon lovers of our family very happy! They were the perfect size for brunch and I’d serve them again at our next gathering. I know our guests would be pleased to get the chance to enjoy them again and I’m adding these to the top our list for family favorite recipes. I was happy to find that they reheat well as leftovers too. I simply put them in an airtight container and the reheated them in the microwave as needed. Delicious times two!

These Ham, Bacon, and Swiss Sliders were a real hit and I can’t wait to serve them again this spring. You can find the recipe on the Kraft Foods site here.

What about you? What are some of your favorite spring brunch recipes?

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog got its name because we have two kids born a year apart and my husband, Dave, and I always joked that "the kids were too wired and we were too tired!" :)

Fast forward a bit—now the kids are off to college (how did that happened so fast!) and since 2009, I’ve been blogging through the chaos, coffee in hand, finding the best in family, travel, and tech—because honestly, who has time for bad gadgets and boring trips?

So, whether you're searching for family travel inspiration, tech gadgets, or tips to enhance family life, you're in the right place because the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here!
