Of all the chores around the house, one of my favorites is vacuuming. I know it sounds strange to actually like a chore but vacuuming has never bothered me, unlike emptying the dishwasher! It’s a good thing I don’t mind vacuuming because when we moved into our new house in November nearly every room is carpeted – even the dining room!

Since we have two young kids, Yoshi dog, and continual ongoing house projects, you can imagine how often we have to vacuum. That’s why I am excited about the Dyson V6 Slim.
I couldn’t wait to try out the Dyson V6 Slim and was thrilled to see how lightweight and versatile it is. After charging it, you can vacuum for 20 minutes or so all without a cord.

It’s incredibly convenient to just grab the vacuum from its docking station and start vacuuming. There’s no lugging a vacuum around. No unwinding the cord, no plugging it in, no trying not to run it over, no keeping it out of the way, no winding it back up, and no lugging it back to where you store it. Simply grab and go!
I also love that it is so lightweight you can easily clean up high too. You can vacuum around the corners of your room, on top of doorframes, or any other harder to reach place that you often put off because it’s too difficult to clean.
It’s also very easy to use to clean under things. You can use the long pole to reach under the couch, under the reclining chair, under your bed, and more.
You can also attach the cleaning head or the additional brush right to the main body which makes it simple to clean couches, chairs, other furniture, and even your car. That’s my favorite feature – being able to take it outside to the vacuum out the car without worrying about a cord.
Emptying the bin is done by holding it over a trash can and pushing the button. The bottom drops down and out falls all the dirt. Snap it back together and you are ready to go. You do need to wash the filter with cold water every month.
I’ve been very impressed with how well it cleans too. We’ve seen far less dog hair around our house which is important and I love how easy it is to vacuum the couches and chairs as well to insure those are dog hair free as well.
It’s so lightweight that Kora & Logan can use it too and at this age they actually enjoy helping out around the house (I’ll enjoy it for as long as it lasts!) and it’s been wonderful being able to ask them to vacuum with the V6 and they both are so excited to they run off to do it. One less chore for me around the house, means more time spent with the family in the end – which makes us all happy.

I’ve been wanting a Dyson for a while. It being cordless is one major reason. It’s so hard to get around the cord especially with dogs following you. Sounds like this picks up nicely as well.

I like this lightweight Dyson vacuum that is easy to use and really looks like a great product to get up all the hair and lint on the carpet and furniture. I would love to own this vacuum!
I’ve never had a cordless vacuum and this looks so lightweight. My old ones never seem to go bad so I keep using them!
Very handy. I’m of the opinion that the more cleaning supplies we have on hand, the cleaner the house will be. They scare away the dirt, a detente vs. grim and dust!
This would be great for cleaning my car. So convenient!
