Last Summer we had heard so much about the Cleveland Metroparks Summer Beach Party that we decided to check it out for ourselves. We’re so glad we did. It’s an amazing family-friendly event taking place again this year and we are already counting down the days until it gets here!
The free Summer Beach Party has something for everyone. Just some of the beach games include a water balloon toss, hula hoop contest, scavenger hunt, relay races, beach blanket bingo, beanbag toss, and more!
Other events include:
- Steel drum show
- Kayak demonstration
- Fishing demonstration
- Live animals from the Lake Erie Nature & Science Center
- Dive team exhibit
- Musical entertainment by Music Mark
- Movie on the beach
- Lots of great food
One of our favorite attractions at the Beach Party last year was watching national award winning sand sculptor Carl Jara create this incredible sand sculpture. It was amazing and we are so excited to hear that he will be back again this year!
The Cleveland Metroparks Summer Beach Party takes place on Saturday, August 6th from 5 – 11 pm at Huntington Beach at the Huntington Reservation in Bay Village. Hope to see you there!
