Bob Evans Family Meals To Go – Christmas Dinner’s in the Bag!

Thank you to Bob Evans for providing the meal for review. The honest opinions are our own.

Did you know that Bob Evans offers Family Meals To Go? You can easily feed a family of 4 for $20 and have leftovers! Don’t spend your holiday season trapped in your kitchen when you can pick up delicious entrees like Meat Loaf, Roast Beef, and even Slow Roasted Turkey and Stuffing.

We recently had the chance to try out Bob Evans Family Meals to Go and ordered the Slow Roasted Turkey & Dressing, Cranberry Relish, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, and Pumpkin Bread.

The food came in 2 large bags and one small one. Kora & Logan were amazed at the amount of food we brought home. While we were setting up the table they thought it would be fun to play in bags (why do we ever buy these kids toys?!).

After working up an appetite playing, the kids were excited to sit down to our “Christmas” meal. With turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberries, pumpkin bread, and even a beautiful pumpkin pie, it definitely could have been!

The meal was amazing! We all enjoyed it so much that Tired Dad Dave and I agreed that if we ever wanted to order a carry out meal on or around Christmas, we would order this Family Meal To Go again. The turkey was juicy, the dressing was flavorful, the mashed potatoes and gravy were so tasty, and we couldn’t get enough of the pumpkin bread and pie.

The Bob Evans Family Meals To Go come with many options. You choose from 10 entrees including:

  • Slow Roasted Turkey & Dressing
  • Chicken Parmasean
  • Pot Roast Stroganoff
  • Roast Beef
  • Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad
  • Meat Loaf
  • and more!

Then you choose a side:

  • Homestyle Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
  • Glazed Baby Carrots
  • Green Beans with Ham
  • Buttered Sweet Corn
  • Bob Evans Signature Coleslaw
  • and more!

You also get to choose either fresh biscuits, dinner rolls, or a seasonal bread. And we recommend purchasing a pie separately for dessert. Yum!

If you’re looking for an easy and affordable way to gather the family around the dinner table without slaving over the stove before or doing a lot of dishes after – Christmas or not, we can’t say enough good things about Bob Evans Family Meals To Go.

I’m a teacher who got out of school just a few days before Christmas and I was SO unprepared for the holiday that I couldn’t imagine how I would get everything done. On the day before Christmas Eve, I thought of an add I’d seen for a Bob Evans Farm Fresh Feast that could be ordered for a holiday meal. I googled Bob Evans, ordered my meal and picked up my Christmas dinner at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The general manager was cheerfully waiting on customers and when my dinner came out, packed neatly in a large box, the manager had a male employee carry it to my car for me. I commented to the manager that this was the most relaxed Christmas Eve I could remember but that it must be really hectic for her. She laughed and said she enjoyed it. Our Christmas dinner was absolutely delicious and I plan on ordering a Bob Evans Farm Feast again. I highly recommend it!

Hello! I know that this post is a year old but was so thankful to come across it! We are in the middle of kitchen renovations and it looks like things will not be done in time for Christmas! So we took your fabulous advice and just ordered curbside meals for our Christmas dinner. All we need is the microwave and fridge and we are good to go! Thanks so much for the very helpful post!
