Make Your Venture Cooler … With This Cooler

When is a cooler much more than “just” a cooler? When it’s a necessary part of your weekend! I use our cooler for tailgating and partying at the lake. When you are out doing one of these things, the cooler is (almost) as important as any member of the family! We just had a chance to review the best cooler for tailgating from Otterbox. The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

I know, you heard Otterbox, and you instantly thought how they make all the cool cases for your phones. Well, you are right, but they make a lot more than that!

We were able to review the Venture 45-Quart Cooler and it is a beast! With 2 inches of refrigeration grade insulation foam it keeps everything cold for days! We can be pretty rough on coolers, we use them as outdoor couches, we pile stuff on them, throw them in the truck, onto a boat and everywhere else too.

I was amazed with the sturdiness of the Venture cooler, the locking clips are hardcore. There are even special locks for it which let you rule the outdoors!

Most coolers are bear resistant, but the Venture Cooler is ultra-bear resistant. Check out this video to see what I mean!

Now that is one persistent and creative bear!

What really makes the Venture Cooler stand out are all of the accessories that it has available. It comes with these really cool accessory strips on the front and back of the cooler where you can add and place some really useful things.

My favorite accessory is the Double Cup Holder. It just clips right on and you can fit 2 Elevation Tumblers, cups, cans or whatever you want really. It is super convenient and keeps things from getting knocked over – which tends to happen while rooting for your favorite football team!

The best thing to place in the Double Cup Holder is the Elevation 20 Tumbler. It can hold 20 oz of your favorite drink. It is made to take a beating and keep on rockin! The tumber gets even better and more useful with the shaker lid. Maybe we like to get little creative while hanging out at the lake and we make some yummy drinks. The tumbler is perfect for those who prefer their martini shaken . . . not stirred! You can even make your Elevation Tumbler your own with a colorful silicone sleeve. Slip on that sleeve and you know it’s yours and you get added protection too!

You really want to make sure you add the bottle opener right next to your drink holder too. The bottle opener clips right into the accessory strip and comes in very handy.

Now the most useful accessory for the Venture Cooler may just be the Dry Box. You can clip it to the cooler, put your phone, keys, wallet and anything else you want to keep dry and safe. Your contents will be safe and dry thanks to its tough and waterproof design.
When it comes to hanging out at the lake and tailgating, well . . . you gotta eat too. So the Venture Cooler comes with a cutting board, which sits on the top lip of the open cooler and it can slide from side to side. Also, there is a divider for the cooler for times you want to keep items separated. It simply slides right in and its nice and easy.

All of these awesome accessories just add to the experience of the Otterbox Venture Cooler. The Venture Cooler comes in 3 sizes 25 quart, 45 quart and 65 quart and a variety of colors. You are sure to find the size and color that is perfect for you and your next adventure! The Otterbox Venture Cooler is available at Best Buy. While you are there, make sure you check out all the incredible things there and start making out your own wishlist!

Next time you see me tailgating or at the beach, you can bet my Venter Cooler won’t be far away.

Hey there! I’m Tesa, the mom behind 2 Wired 2 Tired. The blog originally got its name because my husband, Dave, and I had two kids born a year apart. Back then, we always joked that “the kids were too wired and we were too tired.”

Fast forward to today—those two kids are navigating college life (how did that happen so fast?!), and our house is a little quieter. But the story didn't stop there. Now that I'm a 50+ mom and an empty nester-in-training, the definition of 2 Wired 2 Tired has evolved.

Today I'm wired for new adventures, Disney magic, smart technology, and unforgettable travel experiences and I’m completely tired of bad gadgets, boring trips!

Whether you're a midlife mom looking for the ultimate 50+ Disney World guide, planning a relaxing Michigan Lake Life getaway, organizing a college dorm packing list, or just looking for a killer recipe to enjoy with a great book, you're in the right place.

The chaotic toddler years might be behind us, but the fun (and the coffee) is always brewing around here. Let's tackle this next exciting chapter together!
